Monday mornings feel like a fresh start. After breakfast, I usually take a few moments to check in with someone important. It’s how I begin my week.

I call my daughter Lisa to hear about her weekend and start the week together.

Tuesdays are good for getting outside. I often take a walk, especially if the weather’s nice. There’s someone I like walking with—it’s part of my routine.

Fridays are for looking forward to the weekend. In the afternoon, someone often drops by to say hello. It’s a visit I always enjoy.

My son Mark comes by after work and we talk over coffee in the kitchen.

Saturdays are busier than most. I usually head out to take care of a few things. I don’t go alone—I have help, and we often stop for a snack too.
